The Canterbury campus which is built on 300 acres of park land and is half and hour’s walk from the City Centre, is home to the School of Engineering and Digital Arts. The School opened its doors in 1969. Since then it has expanded to include specialization in digital arts and offers a wide range of BEng honours degree programmes incorporating state-of-the-art technology, which are accredited by the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET). The School also offers MSc, MPhil and PhD degrees which are available in the areas of: broadband and wireless communications; image and information engineering; instrumentation, control and embedded systems; and digital media.
